TRUTH, LIES, AND DAMNED LIES
All fantasy science fiction authors agree that elves CANNOT tell a lie. But you had better listen VERY CAREFULLY and ASK QUESTIONS. This is because elves do not have to tell you the entire truth. Sometimes telling part of the truth is WAY more effective than a lie. Sometimes the language is deceptive.
