CHILD SAFETY

If you are worried about the safety of your child while playing outside, use the Boy Scout swimming rule. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A FRIEND WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES when you are swimming. I think they call it the buddy system.

Again, older kids LOVE playing with younger kids. Hire them to play outside with your children. My daughter was playing with the kid next door, and being paid a little, when she was 6 years old. EVERYONE BENEFITED. The mom got to get things done, my daughter felt important and grown up, and the child LOVED it. NOTE THAT THE MOM WAS HOME THE ENTIRE TIME, so I got babysitting also.
