Putin really wants you to panic over oil prices.
I am sorry that the energy industry will be going through hard times.
For the rest of us, energy to make heat, to drive, to make light and power, will be less expensive.
This will give the rest of us a much needed boost to our budgets.
Countries like China will be able to make to goods at lower costs. Countries like the US will be able to pay workers more, as they pay oil companies less.
Think of the lower oil prices as an economic stimulus gift to the entire world.
