TORTURE BY EMAIL

Over the Fourth of July weekend, I received over ONE THOUSAND emails. I had to delete all but 5. IT TOOK ME AN HOUR of painful clicking with my arthritic hands.

Several of the emails told me that I had jobs at Google or Facebook. (Yes, I know these are scams used to put viruses on my computer.)

I know that I can have a computer check my email, but computers seem to delete the email I NEED, like the email from clients angry at the other party. Also sometimes I get emails from REAL new clients. (I have learned that the emails addressed to all attorneys are almost always scams. A good test is to let them know that you put all checks into a separate account, and will do no work until the check clears.)

WHY DO WE LET THIS GO ON? People are getting ripped off every day. Viruses are spreading like the plague. 

I KNOW WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO STOP THIS.
