The Christians that I know recognize that, if you do not provide birth control, pretty soon all anybody is doing is feeding babies. Ask any mother of twins.
IMHO, it is a sin to oppose birth control. Babies deserve to be wanted. Babies deserve to have parents who can afford them. Babies deserve to have countries who can do more than attempt to feed an ever increasing population.
You can refuse to pay for birth control for your child, as stupid as that is. But women are not children, you can not refuse to pay for their birth control. That would put your religious beliefs in charge of another person's health care.
The whole idea of freedom of religion is that YOUR religion does not get to tell ME what to do.
To make this even worse, health insurance companies do not charge more to provide coverage for birth control. So all this, "I do not want to pay for this, put that scarlet letter on her NOW" stuff is just them being control freaks.
Luckily religious control freaks do NOT have a constitutional right to control ANYONE ELSE.
